We are always keen to welcome new members to our club and invite you to contact
us regarding any queries.
The club was first established in May 2004 as a beginners diving club under the name North Shore Dive School. The club was founded by Tash Vruink and Anna Thomas, both experienced divers who have previously represented New Zealand in international competitions. The club was incorporated on 17 November 2006 and became part of Harbour Sport, changing it’s name to North Harbour Diving Inc. to more accurately reflect the region it represents.
North Harbour Diving now caters for beginners through to national level competitive divers. Depending on the divers skill level, the divers train between 1 – 5 times per week.
Coaches include Bruce Megget, Aimee Megget and Don Patterson, who have all represented New Zealand at international competitions.
The divers train for two hours at a time beginning with dry land training. This allows them to work on their technique and gymnastic abilities and transfer these skills to their pool training.
North Harbour Diving encourages novice divers to participate in regular competitions once they have reached that level and is a very team orientated club.
To be held at West Wave Aquatic Centre, Henderson, Auckland.
